Teeth health
I’ve been asked so much about how I reversed my cavities. I’m not selling anything.
Things I learned are myths:
1. Genetics just give you “bad teeth”.
2. Cavities are only diet related or from not brushing enough.
3. Teeth can’t be remineralized. Cavity holes are permanent cracks.
I learned that cavities are usually due to systemic infections and toxins overload.
I learned that anyone can have good or bad teeth depending on toxin load, lifestyle, and diet.
Oral care played the smallest part in my research but still critical nonetheless.
It’s important to breathe through your nose, not your mouth. Especially at night.
I also learned that cracks and holes in teeth CAN be remineralized!
What I did to reverse cavities and avoid having teeth pulled:
I did “oil pulling” every morning immediately upon waking. Before taking a drink of water or doing literally anything at all. This is important. Look up the ayurvedic practice to learn more about it.
I added 2 drops of “OnGuard” essential oils a couple times a week for extra kick.
I used coconut oil from Costco.
The first few days I got headaches and felt a little weird. Normal detox for some. By day 7 that was gone. I did this practice daily for about 3 months and then felt I didn’t need it anymore so now I just do it once in awhile for maintenance.
**Note – oil pulling is not recommended if you have amalgams. Those need to be carefully removed and I recommend a biological dentist to do that**
I took sugar completely of my diet. Including sneaky sources like the fillers in “gluten free” products. (They load them with starches that spike blood sugar.)
Most people will do raw milk but since I have severe Dairy sensitivities I couldn’t do raw dairy either.
I drove quite a distance to find a bio-memetic dentist since there wasn’t a biological dentist within a day’s drive of me.

I learned a 3-step natural tooth care.
- Brush teeth. (I use fluoride free sugar free)
- Dip toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide and gently brush it all over teeth and tongue. Not brushing to clean, just sort of “applying” it. Let it sit until it stops foaming. Rinse it out.
- Make a paste with a small amount of baking soda and water. (Less than a teaspoon) Gently massage that into gums and kinda gently ‘pat’ onto teeth. I don’t brush the baking soda on, too abrasive. Swish around in mouth for 30 seconds, then rinse out.
The bio-memetic dentist explained that if your teeth are really bad, you will need to do this three-step process three times a day or even more. Otherwise, it’s first thing in the morning and last thing at night before bed.
It will change the Ph of your mouth and helps massively with bad breath too!
Added bonus – most people experience a whitening effect as if they had their teeth bleached by the 3 month mark.
I also floss regularly.
Lastly, gut health is correlated with teeth and gums. Heal the gut, eat clean whole foods. Back off the inflammatory and acidic foods and drink.
For deep dives on everything teeth, including why root canals are very bad, and why sleep apnea is related to your teeth and jaws, check these out:
The old documentary “Root Cause”
The recent Netflix documentary “Open Wide”. ( this one in particular if your son has a rounded recessed jaw or anyone has breathing issues with mouth and nose or sleep apnea type issues!)
Don’t let the dental experts fear monger you. They have rolled their eyes and sworn to me up and down that in their 20 years of practice they’ve never seen someone reverse cavities or remineralize a tooth.
I just smile and nod, and realize they don’t know what they don’t know yet.
Some of them are well-meaning. A lot of them are really good sales people.
Knowledge is power.
Our bodies are designed to heal, and the more I learn about holistic ways to treat myself, the more amazed I am.
