Communist sensitivity training
One of the main goals of Cultural Marxism is to replace Christian principles with socialist and humanist ideas. Sensitivity training is a communist technique designed to convince people, especially the youth, that they main authority in their own lives, and that they should use their own conscience to decide what is right and wrong in any given situation {situation ethics}. Thus: “I have my morals, you have yours, and one is a valid as the other. So, who am I to judge your morals? And you cannot judge mine.”
Through sensitivity training, Christian moral values are undermined and replaced with subjective, humanist values {values clarification}, which in turn leads to changes in a person’s moral behavior {behavior modification}.
It was German born psychologist, Kurt Lewin, who laid down the foundation for sensitivity training, especially in a series of psychology workshops he organized in 1946. Born in a Jewish family in Prussia {now Poland}, he moved to Germany in 1905. Becoming proficient in the field of behavioral psychology, he became associated with the Frankfurt school of Marxism. He also joined the Psychological Institute of the University of Berlin where he lectured and gave seminars on both philosophy and psychology. He emigrated to the United States in 1933, becoming a US citizen in 1940.
Subjective morality and humanism
True moral values are based on objective morality, divine revelation and the Natural law. Sensitivity training, however, is based on subjective morality, i. e. the liberal error of freedom of conscience, which bases moral judgment on one’s personal ideas or feeling about right and wrong, e.g.: “How do you feel about this?” or “What do you think about this?”
Subjective morality is based on humanist psychology, which teaches that the most important source of authority is within oneself and one’s own conscience, and that a person should appeal solely to his conscience in deciding what is good or evil.
As Archbishop Lefebvre explains in his book, They Have Uncrowned Him, page 15:
“In Subjectivism, it is the reason that constructs the truth: we have the submission of the object to the subject. The subject becomes the center of all things. Things are no longer what they are, but what I think. In such a case, man disposes of truth according to his own taste. This error will be called Idealism in its philosophical aspect, and Liberalism in its moral, social, political and religious aspect.”
Sensitivity training targets the Christian family
Sensitivity training in education is a subversive technique used by Marxist, Freemasons, Modernists and Liberals to attack the children of Christian families. This is especially done in classes of literature and poetry, where they promote literature witch scenes portraying sexual promiscuity, nudity, homosexuality, etc., in order to familiarize and desensitize students with regard to these evils. In this way, they can corrupt the Christian moral values the students learned from the Church and their parents in the home.
Marxists insist that students should read literature and novels that also contain scenes of indecency, impurity, and other moral depravity, in order to have a more “realistic knowledge” of the present world. They tell parents:” It is wrong to shelter your children from the evils of the present world.
Parents who try to defend the traditional principles of Christian morality are told that their ideas of morality are a result of the false morality and spirituality of the Puritans who settled in America. However, this accusation of Puritanism is false and was refuted by Pope XI’s encyclical, Vigilanti Cura, in which praise the work of the “Legion of Decency” to give moral direction to American Christians and upright citizens to publicly oppose all indecency and immorality the movies coming out of Hollywood and the entertainment industry.
Consequently, exposing the population to sensual and indecent literature, movies, plays, music, etc. will not strengthen them against temptation, but will rather increase their temptations, by desensitizing them to indecency and impurity, and by dulling their consciences into minimizing the seriousness of such sins, thus making them more drawn to the forbidden pleasure of sin through concupiscence and curiosity.

It is well know tactic of Marxists to use other people or organizations as a front for their communist agenda. Perhaps those who are being used by communists do not realize they are participating in a Marxist agenda. Communists, however, refer to their unwitting instruments as useful idiots.
Three main steps of sensitive training in schools
In practice, we can see three main steps of sensitivity training in the field of education:
- Direct students to get in touch with their own feelings about moral or doctrinal questions: How do you feel about it? or What do you think about this? This will condition students to use their own feelings and ideas, rather than the traditional teaching of their parents and Church, to determine what is morally right or wrong.
- Desensitize students to indecency and impurity by slowly familiarizing them with literature, books and movies that contain indecency, obscenity and vulgarity, or by the occasional use of off- color or impure jokes in the classroom.
- Direct teachers to establish a friendly rapport with the students so that they will develop a strong sense of loyalty and trust towards their teacher, thus defending his personal character and teaching methods, even to the point of turning against their own parents. {Example: If your parents yell at you because You didn’t clean your room call 911.}
In this way, young people are conditioned to distrust and reject traditional Christians values they learned from their parents in the home and learn to trust their liberal teachers rather than their parents with regards to moral values and to seek freedom and independence from their parents’ authority and counsel.
“For that reason, institutional education of children must start as early as possible to influence children’s minds. In Canada, some kids are already in daycare from six months old. How can children develop a close relationship with their parents and build a strong family foundation if they start daycare so early?
As Lenin stated:” Give us the child for 8 years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.”
