The death of popular conservative political activist Charlie Kirk shook North America. The 31-year-old commentator, author, and co-founder of Turning Point USA was fatally shot on Wednesday while speaking at an event on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Charles James Kirk was born on October 14, 1993, in Chicago. Kirk was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. In 2010, during his junior year at Wheeling High School, he volunteered for the successful U.S. Senate campaign of Illinois Republican Mr. Kirk.
In 2012, Kirk co- founded TPUSA {Turning Point Action}, a conservative student organization that quickly grew with backing from donors like US billionaire Foster Friess. Later on, at a speaking engagement at Benedictine University met Bill Montgomery {military background} who encouraged Kirk to engage in political activism full- time. Together they founded Turning Point USA, nonprofit organization that advocates for conservative politics on high school, college, and university campuses.
From 2020, Kirk hosted radio show The Charlie Kirk Show, which as of December 2021 was ranked as the 21st– most popular podcast on Apple Podcast.
In 2024 Kirk created TikTok account which gained popularity after he posted videos of him talking to college students during his campus tours, with some videos garnering as many as 50 million views.
He was strong Trump supporter and charismatic person. Kirk has captured the imagination of the young political right and become an iconic figure for people of all ages. So of course, his apparent assassination is going to have profound and far-reaching effect.
Right after the tragic event, the highest authorities in the U.S. — including Donald Trump — honored the memory of Charlie Kirk. Canadian politicians also condemned the shooting.

On the other side, left-wing extremists {sleeping agents} began celebrating his death — including Melia Belli Bose, an associate professor from the University of Victoria, among others — which, of course, outraged millions of conservatives.
The vendetta didn’t take long. Clay Higgins, a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing Louisiana’s 3rd Congressional District, posted on his X account that he intends to use congressional authority to permanently ban every post or commenter who belittled the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He continued:” So, I’m going to lean forward in this fight, demanding that big tech have zero tolerance for violent political hate content, the user to be banned from all platforms forever. I’m also going after their business licenses and permitting, their businesses will be blacklisted aggressively, they should be kicked from every school, and their driver licenses should be revoked. I’m basically going to cancel with extreme prejudice these evil, sick animals who celebrates Charlie Kirk’s assassination. I’m starting that today. That is all.”
What we’re clearly seeing is an old pattern: problem, reaction, solution. A prominent young conservative leader was murdered. Dozens of left-leaning agent provocateurs helped escalate tensions in society. And now, politicians will bring in their so-called “solutions”: more censorship and more control.
The irony? Conservatives are now the ones demanding it. But in the future, that same power could just as easily be used against them.
And Charlie Kirk? He seems like a victim in a larger game played by powerful figures — they saw his potential and talent, supported him when it suited them, and in the end, sacrificed him.
Or maybe everything is different.
