Ukraine
In 2022, on the World war map were 8 countries with civil wars: Afghanistan, Colombia, Ethiopia, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, Syria, and Yemen. Another 12 countries have terrorist insurgencies, such as Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, DR Congo, Iraq, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Tunisia. Permanent war is for the last couple of years in Mexico. It is the drug war among the drug cartels and drug cartels versus the Mexican government. Every year these wars have over 100 000 casualties, but these numbers are not very accurate. There are much higher.
Last week the map was expanded by one more country, Ukraine. A country, with rich natural resources and one of the largest agricultural producers and exporters in the World. Ukraine has about 28 million hectares of black soil, so it’s about 15% world reserve. {Black soil- contain min. 3,1 % of humus}. The black soil, or chernozem, makes Ukraine one of the most fertile places on the Earth, which is now covered by blood and tears again.

February 21st, 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin recognizes the two new countries, Luhansk People’s Republic and the Donetsk People’s Republic. Both republics were established in April 2014, but by international law were unrecognized territories since 2014 when they broke out against Ukrainian forces after the Euromaidan occurred in the capital city Kyiv. The officials of both new republics requested military help from Russia right after recognition, because of escalating military attacks from Ukraine. February 22nd, Russian duma accepted requests and Russia sent the troops to Donetsk and Luhansk. After that, aggression from the Ukraine side even increased, so two days later, in the morning hours, February 24th Russian military crossed the Ukrainian borders.

Ongoing war is a result of years of diplomatic failures and international tensions between the Russia and countries of the West. The situation in Ukraine is very complicated but not irresoluble. For better understanding please watch documentary Ukraine on fire made by Oliver Stone.
After Euromaidan happened back in 2014, the situation in the region has been escalating. NATO has been moving military presence to Russian borders since then.
For the last couple of years, the countries of the west created more and more economic and diplomatic sanctions against Russia, Russian officials, and companies, which have had an impact on all people in the country.
April 2020, US Embassy in Ukraine confirmed, that there are biological laboratories in Ukraine that are under the control of the Pentagon. The information released from Serbian and Bulgarian media reported more than 400 US bacteriological laboratories around the world, including at least 15 in Ukraine.
Last December 2021, head of state Russian federation president Vladimir Putin requested security demands from NATO. The demands contained: NATO denies membership to Ukraine and other former Soviet countries and rolls back the alliance’s military deployments in Central and Eastern Europe, for a ban on sending U.S. warships and aircraft to areas with Russian military presence and along with a halt to NATO military drills near Russia. All demands were totally ignored, U.S. and NATO officials don’t even try to create a dialog about them.
Meanwhile, NATO kept increasing military movement toward Russia, creating more tension and bigger pressure on Russian defense.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the middle of February announced, Ukraine could pursue a nuclear weapon. During the Munich Security Conference 2022, held February 18- 20 2022, he said:” Since 2014, Ukraine has tried three times to convene consultations with the guarantor states of the Budapest Memorandum. Three times without success. Today Ukraine will do it for the fourth time. I, as President, will do this for the first time. But both Ukraine and I are doing this for the last time. I am initiating consultations in the framework of the Budapest Memorandum. The Minister of Foreign Affairs was commissioned to convene them. If they do not happen again or their results do not guarantee security for our country, Ukraine will have every right to believe that the Budapest Memorandum is not working and all the package decisions of 1994 are in doubt.”
Vladimir Putin reacted to the suggestion that Ukraine wants nuclear weapons:” “If Ukraine acquires weapons of mass destruction, the situation in the world and in Europe will drastically change, especially for us, for Russia,” Putin continued. “We cannot but react to this real danger, all the more so since, let me repeat, Ukraine’s Western patrons may help it acquire these weapons to create yet another threat to our country.”
After the Russian military crossed the Ukrainian borders, countries of the west, including Canada, brought more sanctions against Russia and there are sending more military equipment to Ukraine. As Prime minister Justin Trudeau announced on his Twitter account on February 28th:” We’re supplying Ukraine with anti-tank weapons systems and upgraded ammunition. This is in addition to our three previous shipments of military equipment – and it’s on top of the night vision goggles, body armour, gas masks, and helmets we announced yesterday.”
Because the Russian army already controls Ukraine’s air space, all military equipment must be delivered by the ground, mostly through the Poland border, because Poland is a NATO member. If the military convoy and supplies will cross the borders there will become a potential target of the Russian Air Force.
What will happen if some airstrikes kill NATO soldiers during the delivery or some rockets or missiles hit the target in Poland close by the border? That will be the reason for activating Article 5 of the NATO agreement about collective defense?

March 1st, Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will stop military activities in Ukraine right after Kyiv will recognize Donetsk and Luhansk as independent republics, must accept the Crimea is a part of Russia, as it was before 1954, will never pursue a nuclear weapon and west part of Ukraine will be demilitarized and the country will stay military neutral.
Nobody is listening. Western politicians and officials with the huge support of mercenary mainstream media are ahead of who is going to use the strongest words against President Vladimir Putin and Russia. They are all talking about peace but in reality, they are all sending more military troops and equipment to Ukraine, which will cost more suffering, pain, and casualties on both sides.
By the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute {SIPRI} global military spending raised to almost 2 trillion USD. No need to mention human potential. If we have used that amount of resources for different purposes such as real education and agriculture, we would not know what is hunger and misery planet-wide. Once again: CUI BONO?
