SOGI rallies in Salmon Arm
Last weekend, two groups, each one about twenty people, with different views about SOGI {Social orientation and gender identity} were presented on Highway 1 close by Centenoka Park Mall to show the public their opinion about the existent issue.

First group was the group of people, including kids, supporting the SOGI idea. They brought their own signs and LBGTI flags and cheered alongside a highway. Signs such as “Trans kids are valid”, and “Love is greater than fear” were proudly held by the members supporting SOGI. They believe, that sexual orientation is not done by the birth sex, but by the personal feeling of every person, and everyone has the right to choose his own orientation, including kids. This group of people thinks that there is so much discrimination and harassment against people with different orientation in our society, and this minority deserves a bigger voice and respect. Councillor Silvia Lindgren was also present in this group, and she is a proud supporter of LBGTI.
The second group didn’t support SOGI at all, on the contrary, they believe that SOGI is a dangerous ideology and it’s very harmful, especially for children. As one protestor said: “We have only two genders, as proven by anatomy, other orientations are mental deviations and SOGI agenda cost harm to children’s healthy psychical development. This can mutilate and confuse kids for all their life!” Their signs support the previous words, such as “Save the children”, and “Hands off our kids”, or even: “SOGI normalizes pedophilia”.
Some people also believe that SOGI is a part of the depopulation agenda, as part of Agenda 2030, to destroy traditional families or even nations, divide communities, and break down society. For that reason gets so much support from governments worldwide. A big supporter of Agenda 2030 is also prime minister Justin Trudeau who back in August 2022 brought First Federal 2SLGBTQI+ Action Plan to continue building a more inclusive future with pride. To implement and develop this project, he committed the 2022 budget to 100 million CAD for over the next five years.
The rallies occurred without any incident, except for a few provocations from the pro-SOGI group when a man with a pride flag stood right in front of the lady who held sign: “Wake up” and blocked her, or a man with two small LBGTI flags walking by and used vulgar and non- respectful language to opposite view protestors.
We can already see, that LGBTI+ ideology and symbolism are pushed in society for the last few years. Colorful crosswalks, flags, stickers, parades, pride events, and millions of taxpayers’ dollars spent. Even schools and education systems are not exempt. LBGTI stickers and flags are part of the school’s decoration and the school curriculum including SOGI. It has all happened suddenly, without any political, professional, or public discussion. The seeds are already planted, we will see what kind of crops we will get.
