Police forces on the Ambassador bridge
Since “Freedom convoy 2022” arrived in Ottawa, more and more people realized how important is to join this movement. More and more protests are happening around Canada and new convoys are rolling on Canadians’ highways and roads. Canada is definitely “waking up” and what is really very important, is inspiring other countries too.

Ottawa city center is hosting for over 3 weeks the main protest in the country. Truckers are paralyzing local traffic and Parliament hill is fulfilled with people, who enjoy each other, good music, and the most hope for the change. Especially during the weekend, thousands of Canadians joining the “truckers” asked to cancel all Covid related regulations and the resignation of Justin Trudeau’s Liberal cabinet.
Since February 7th, happening another protest on Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Ontario. While limited US-bound traffic is being allowed to cross the Ambassador Bridge in Ontario, Canada-bound lanes from Detroit remain closed. Demonstrators’ numbers had thinned by midnight Friday, but they were still preventing access to the Ambassador Bridge, hours after a court injunction took effect. Sunday morning, tens of police officers went to the bridge to remove protestors, whereby were 12 people arrested and a few vehicles have been towed away. Police forces remain still presented on the scene.

For over 2 weeks there is still an ongoing protest on Highway 4, at Coutts, Alberta. Trucks and big agriculture tractors have stopped all traffic for the past number of days. During the weekend numbers of people are growing with big support of horse riders. Protestors clearly declared, they will stay until all Covid 19 measurements be lifted.
Hundreds of cars also gathered yesterday in Surrey, on 176 Street toward to U.S. border. Cars decorated with Canadian flags and other symbols partially blocked the streets. All for supporting the “Freedom convoy 2022” and other protests too.
With solidarity to ongoing protests, other convoys and demonstrations have started around BC. One from them in northern British Columbia on the Alaska border where hundreds of vehicles parked alongside Highway with the huge support of people. Protestors had waived with Canadian and U.S. flags and symbols.
Saturday, February 12th, another convoy started from Salmon Arm to Osoyoos. On the way to the South, more than 1000 vehicles joined this incredibly huge convoy. Honking during the driving, people enjoying sunny Saturday and later on, gathered close by the U.S. border on Highway 97.
Canadian “Freedom convoy 2022” inspired people in other countries. Freedom “fighters” from France declared last week, that they will block all city centers of the capital city Paris during the upcoming weekend. Supporters from all France arrived at Champs- Elysées and blocked traffic around the famous Arc the Triomphe. Few of them have worn Canadian flags, as a symbol of inspiration.
Over 130 people showed support in Salmon Arm too. Freedom and medical choice brought again people from all Shuswap areas. Seniors, kids, women, men, all together enjoyed a nice sunny day for a couple of days. The protest happened with a very good attitude without any conflict with the enormous support of honking passed-by vehicles.
