Open letter to BC government
Hello,
Please forward this letter to the appropriate department regarding the Emergency Legislative Alert, proposal.
This topic is a very emotional one for us.
We do not want to offend anyone however, a healthy exchange of logical thinking & honesty is necessary in regards to this important topic.
Our family is absolutely against the BC government trying to enact yet more control measures over property owners regarding fires & other related emergency procedures.

Given the situation that my community went thru this past summer (2023) with the fires in the North Shuswap area (I will not even refer to them as natural wild fires because they weren’t!), if it wasn’t for the people that stayed behind to take care of their own properties along with their neighbours, the destruction & devastation would have been far worse!!! Those that stayed should be commended for their efforts & perhaps given some form of appreciation like a tax credit or a cheque for their courage.
With the availability of cloud seeding programs to produce rain, this should have been included as a solution to the dry season.
It was completely evident to us that the Government, the CSRD & BC Wildfire services absolutely mismanaged the event and are the last organizations that we would ever put our faith in again. Many individuals are also considering taking other legal means towards those directly responsible with their decision making to be removed from their positions & perhaps be taken to court for the harm & damages affecting the wilderness, wildlife habitat and in particular the disruption of people’s lives.
There was no reason for the Adams lake (Bush creek) & Shuswap fire to have gotten out of control. We all could visibly see that the so called experts did not put the fires out when they were small & manageable!
How is it possible that one of the biggest lakes in BC was not utilized at the onset!
If this government cares then why is there not more equipment available as you continue too clammer over ‘global boiling’ another loose term based on fraud political science.
Equipment should be provided and made easily available to the locals! Many locals thankfully possess their own water tank trucks with pressurized hoses that were pivotal in saving their homes. Some people that live here have been here for multiple generations and have learned to successfully fend for themselves Those people should be rewarded not shunned for their efforts!! This government should be utilizing the people’s hard earned over-taxed money in areas such as this!! !! Provide rural areas with the necessary water trucks with pressurized hoses!!
Also a huge factor that many of us have researched over the years is the obvious geo engineering weather modification programs in which the chemicals used actually increase the flammability of our trees & wildernesses!! We’ve read the patents and we see many organizations like this on the internet including at least one in BC. This technology violates all living things. None of us consented to these draconian programs! This is a form of air pollution and must be terminated. Cloud seeding for rain when needed is an entirely different subject.
If anything, property owners should be encouraged to stay, perhaps be offered information & videos, on how to protect your land & home.
The government has become a nuisance with their over-reach excessive controlling technique & mentality, essentially possessing a God-like complex. You are not our God. WE feel that there are far too many departments that do not justify the cost and benefits.
To us it is time to reduce government and allow people to live the lifestyle that they choose to without interference.
Many of us are very educated, have done our research and are adult enough to make our own personal decisions.
Time to reduce the unwarranted level of taxation the causation of a diminishing economy! If you truly care about the BC people you need to respectfully listen to them!! Encourage the family unit, bring back family allowance monthly cheques, eliminate the service corporation leadership posing as a government.
The people rule not some foreign entities with their own unelected agendas.
If you truly care about Canada, your family and the people around you, then listen to the people! Please provide the necessary equipment locally & provincially to assist in wildfire management in rural areas.
Disassociate with separate unelected three letter foreign bodies like the WEF, the WHO, PPP, the UN and others that do not reside in Canada and have no personal ties.
When you have a fire in your kitchen, do you wait three or more days to put it out??? That was the situation here!
Unforgiveable actually!
Who have you sworn an oath to?? Do you even understand who is sending you your marching orders??? These are questions that you each should personally ask your selves!
Listen to the people, provide a receptive setting for them to engage with you in.
Open your hearts & minds to them, after all they are the ones that pay your wages!
