NATO countries gave a green to attack Russia with their weapons
On Friday, all the media were informed that Donald Trump, as the first former president, was found guilty in a hush money trial. The verdict in the hush money trial was announced after jurors deliberated for nearly 12 hours over two days.
But media did not really put attention on very important facts.
The Biden administration has given Ukraine permission to strike inside Russian territory using U.S. provided weapons. “The president recently directed his team to ensure that Ukraine is able to use U.S. weapons for counter-fire purposes in Kharkiv so Ukraine can hit back at Russian forces hitting them or preparing to hit them,” one of the U.S. officials said.
On Tuesday, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said Ukraine could use German-supplied weapons “within the framework of international law,” which would allow them to be used against Russia, including inside Russian territory.
French President Emmanuel Macron said: “We have to allow [Ukrainians] to neutralize the military sites from which the missiles are fired, but not other civilian or military targets,” adding a limit that’s not in line with what Kyiv wants.
In April, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute published, that global military expenditure reached $2 443 billion in 2023. That is an increase of 6,8% per cent in real terms from 2022. As reported, world military expenditure rose for the ninth consecutive year to all- time high. Military Expenditure went up in all regions, with particularly large increases recorded in Europe, Asia and Middle East.
Over 2 years of military conflict in Ukraine and dozens of others in the world have created much suffering, loss of life and environmental damage. With the use of the latest modern weaponry constantly on the rise, one has to wonder when will end? When will it be too late?
Trillions of dollars spent on weapons that create damage leave no funding to feed people, build gardens, green houses, and waters corridors.
We need to start by looking in the mirror, from the everyday working person to the most powerful. Every man and woman must learn the consequences of their behavior and action. Am I doing good or bad? It is necessary to see the bigger picture and our role in the chain of events. Are you working for the military industry? Is the product from your hands going to kill or harm someone? This applies to every industry.
When we finally learn from the past we can avoid all wars and conflicts by better understanding the other side. Another world is possible if we escape from our old patterns and truly forgive all old mistakes, sins, and injustices. We need to move forward and create a better world for future generations. We all have the ability to do so.
It is very simple. Replace fear with faith and greed and power with love. We can all start today.
