Additional billions to Ukraine
Last December 2021, head of state Russian federation president Vladimir Putin requested security demands from NATO. The demands contained: NATO denies membership to Ukraine and other former Soviet countries and rolls back the alliance’s military deployments in Central and Eastern Europe, for a ban on sending U.S. warships and aircraft to areas with Russian military presence and along with a halt to NATO military drills near Russia. All demands were totally ignored!
Since 2015, the countries of NATO kept supporting a military conflict in the Donbas and Luhansk regions between Ukrainian armed forces and pro-Russian armed forces {over 12.000 casualties between 2014-2021}. As a reaction, on February 21st, 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin recognizes the two new countries, Luhansk People’s Republic and the Donetsk People’s Republic. Both republics were established in April 2014, but by international law were unrecognized territories since 2014 when they broke out against Ukrainian forces after the Euromaidan occurred in the capital city of Kyiv. The officials of both new republics requested military help from Russia right after recognition, because of the intensity of battles that graduated when February 16, 2022, the shelling of the Donbas increased dramatically for the next week “to over 2,000 per day on February 22. February 22nd, the Russian duma accepted requests and Russia sent the troops to Donetsk and Luhansk. After that, aggression from the Ukraine side even increased, so two days later, in the morning hours, February 24th Russian military crossed the borders.

The Canadian liberal government is supporting this conflict since the beginning: financially, by providing military equipment, with the training of Ukrainian armed forces, and imposing sanctions against Russian businesses and people.
Since 2015 under Operation UNIFIER Canadian armed forces CAF trained over 34.000 Ukrainian military and security personnel in battlefield tactics and advanced military skills. Operation UNIFIER was expanded and extended until March 2025!!!
The Canadian government provided over $600 million in military support to Ukraine, including armored vehicles, artillery and ammunition, drone cameras, and winter clothing.
$320 million in humanitarian response efforts, and immigration measures.
Canada has committed $1,5 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine this year, all of which has already been disbursed.
On top of that, Justin Trudeau also announced that the Government of Canada issued Ukraine Sovereignty Bonds, which will help the government continue operations. The equivalent proceeds from this five-year bond will be channeled directly to Ukraine through the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Administered Account. The new Ukraine Sovereignty Bonds will be offered by participating financial institutions. Those who choose to invest in this bond will, in effect, be purchasing a regular Government of Canada five-year bond backed by Canada’s triple-A credit rating. Canada is the first country in the world outside of Ukraine to offer a bond for purchase in support of Ukraine.
At the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia, Justin Trudeau, announced that Canada will provide $500 million in additional military assistance for Ukraine, to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This builds on total on the Government of Canada’s $3,4 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine this year only.
Justin Trudeau also announced, that Canada is allocating $55 million in previously announced funding to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the International Organization for Migration, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and other humanitarian partners to support winterization initiatives. Canada is also moving forward with previously budgeted $15 million in funding for demining support to Ukraine, including the procurement of urgently needed demining equipment for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine through Global Affairs Canada’s Weapons Threat Reduction Program and the Peace and Stabilization Operations Program.
Canadian liberal government spent over $3,4 billion directly or through the bonds in the year 2022 to support the war conflict in Ukraine. This does not include the cost of all military training, sanctions {that affect the Canadian economy as well} and support provided through key international financial institutions, including the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. These three institutions have together committed more than $28.5 billion to support the Ukrainian regime this year.
By the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, the world military spending expenditure passes $2,113 Trillion, due by April 2022. The five largest spenders were the US, China, India, the UK, and Russia, together accounting for almost 62% of the total budget.
The data above shows that Trudeau’s government provided Ukraine $600 million in military aid and $320 million in humanitarian response efforts, and immigration measures with Canadian taxpayers’ money. Worldwide military spending increased to enormous over $2 Trillion. Basically, on one hand, we support more war, blood, tears, material, and environmental damage with provided weapons, and another side we paid to help people that survived these wars or suffering from them. Insanity in this world continues…
